Why Invent the Arm-Adillo?
We wanted to help you keep your pencils close and out of your pocket. We made something so you don’t have to carry lots of little art supplies. Now, you can keep your stuff on your arm, neat and ready to use. No more digging through your backpack or pencil case. And no more poking your leg when you put a pencil in your pocket!
We looked at how most artists carry their pencils when they draw outside. We made and tested lots of early versions. We changed the materials so they feel good on your skin and don’t wear out. We also changed the the layout to make it easy to carry. The Arm-adillo can also stick to metal surfaces! We made it so it can lay flat too. We tested everything to make a tool that helps you draw better and faster.
The result: The Arm-adillo saves space and lets you draw without using your hands to hold your tools. It wraps around your hand or wrist and holds your art supplies. It’s a great match for any sketchbook and a super helpful tool for all artists.

“I’ve used the Arm-adillo for years,” says Enrique (aka, SketchMonster), the person who first came up with the idea. “At first, it was only for me. But when other people wanted to buy one, I decided to make a better version with a team and start selling it. I picked the best people I knew, and we worked together on the new design.”
Since we’re artists too, we studied how people draw and carry their tools. Most people keep their pencils in their pockets or in big backpacks. But carrying a big bag only pencils isn’t fun. And keeping pencils in your pocket can poke your leg or your hand.
The Arm-adillo fixes that! You don’t need an extra bag. You can just strap your pencils or markers to your arm or your sketchbook. It even has a magnet so it can stick to things like tables, signs, blackboards, or even your fridge!

YES.The Arm-adillo uses a similar magnet to that of employee name tags. The magnet is fairly powerful and very secure.
NO.Not if they are positioned correctly. We’ve modified The Arm-adillo to be placed in a way that wont poke your arm if set in its default position.
Yes! it can handle very thin pencils. There are 3 kinds of diameters in the holders. first kind- derwent pencils. which are very thin , and extremely common diameter. second kind – Mid sized pens, and a lot of in between. third kind – 1 Marker sized. something about the size of a chartpak marker or magic marker. +++Then there is one I didn’t show in the video. There is going to be an elastic one that should accommodate a mid – very large item. +++ Yeah I am constantly giving it to friends to test out. I want to be sure its quality product before I send all of them out, should my kickstarter succeed.
NO. There is no animal product in the Arm-adillo.
