Hounds Wake

Art and Written by Enrique Plazola

Suki isn’t just any pet dog—he’s about to face the fight of his life. One moment, he’s drifting into a peaceful sleep. The next, he awakens in a sprawling, nightmarish labyrinth deep beneath the earth—a prison of endless tunnels and lurking terrors.  Shadows whisper threats from every corner, and the air itself feels alive with danger. With nothing but his courage and will to survive, Suki must claw, bite, and battle his way through the treacherous depths. Every step forward brings him closer to freedom… or to the jaws of something far worse.

Coro wakes up in the middle of absolute chaos—Downtown San Diego is under siege by a ruthless alien invasion. Buildings crumble, the sky burns, and the streets are crawling with creatures not of this world. With no time to think, his sharp-witted and fearless sidekick Lamont (Lo) pushes him into the fray. After all, Coro isn’t just any fighter—he wields the raw, unstoppable power of a god. Every punch can level a wall. Every step shakes the ground. But with enemies swarming from every direction, even divine strength might not be enough. Victory is within reach… if they can survive long enough to claim it.

When Microchimp, the Chimponchines’ brilliant cybernetic mastermind, is struck by the deadly Malwarrior Virus, chaos erupts. His circuits glitch, his memories fracture, and his mind becomes a twisting digital warzone. Desperate to save his friend, Baboom takes the ultimate gamble—diving headfirst into Microchimp’s infected consciousness for a dangerous manual purge. Inside, nothing is stable: memories shift like quicksand, viral monstrosities stalk every corridor, and the infection spreads with terrifying speed. If they fail, Microchimp won’t just lose his mind—he’ll be rewritten into something unrecognizable, a weapon for the very virus they’re fighting. The clock is ticking, and every second brings them closer to digital oblivion.

The Dream Eater

Written by Robert Hermes

Art by Robert McKeone

In the dead of night, a young woman becomes the prey of a relentless, shadowy figure—an entity that doesn’t just haunt its victims, but hunts them in the fragile space between waking and sleep. Every time her eyes close, the nightmare grows darker, its grip tighter. Reality fractures as visions bleed into daylight, and she can no longer tell if she’s awake… or still trapped inside the dream. With each encounter, the figure draws closer, driving them toward an unavoidable showdown that will decide whether she wakes to a new day—or never wakes at all.

Let Go

Writing and Art by Emily Rocha

Every night, Trevor finds himself face-to-face with the same woman—a stranger whose haunting presence lingers long after he wakes. She never speaks. She never leaves. Her eyes hold secrets, but her silence is maddening. Why is she there every night? Why does she watch him with such intensity? As Trevor searches for answers, reality begins to blur, and the line between dream and waking life starts to dissolve. Is she just a figment of his imagination… or is something—someone—reaching out to him from beyond the veil of sleep?

I want you to know. This anthology isn’t just for us … it’s for you. Every story, every panel, every line of ink was created to remind readers that indie comics still matter, and with the threat of Artificial intelligernce around, that the future of art belongs to those who believe in it enough to support it.

We’ve been publishing the Accidental Aliens Anthology annually for years, connecting readers with some of the most exciting indie voices in comics. Our books have been featured at San Diego Comic‑Con / local press and more.
